Tidal Power

Tidal power, also known as tidal energy, is a form of hydropower that exploits the movement of water caused by tidal currents and the rise and fall of sea levels due to the tides. Tidal power has great potential for future production of electricity generation because of the massive size of the oceans and the fact that tidal power is a far more predictable form of renewable energy compared to wind driven turbines, this is due to the fact that tide movement is created by the gravitational pull of the moon. This added advantage of tidal power over wind power makes future large scale projects much more interesting from a sustainable point of view.
