The sneakers from Converse skor is named after Marquis Mills Converse who in 1908 founded the Converse Rubber Shoe Company. In 1915 they started manufacturing footwear for men. Over the years the Converse brand was established with the star created by Jim Labadini in the 1960s. With the advent of competitors Converse lost a large portion of its market share. Weak management caused Converse to file for bankruptcy in 2001.

The company was bought by FootWear Acquisitions in April of 2001 and in less than 36 months, the company was elevated to seventh greatest footwear business in the world. Converse has developed many series of sneakers. The Chuck Taylor All Star Basketball shoe comes in many different designs and colours.

The Weapon basketball shoe was released in 1986. It comes in many colors to match the basketball colors of different teams. It is constructed entirely in natural leather including the heel. Larry Bird and Magic Johnson were the very first professional basketball players to endorse this specific shoe.

The high tops are recommended for those wearers who like a bit of ankle support. Many people feel that the shoes from Converse look fantastic to any clothes you wear.

Converse has also made a lot of special editions with artists like Nirvana, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimi Hendrix and The Who among others. Converse definitely has its personal unique look and for some it is just the best accessory.
